His blog and good deeds are carried forth via "Dogs Aye View" by his brother Opie - the red-headed-some-kind-of-hound-that-Gomer-brought-home. Opie: I'm the always playful, ever dopey, hound dog that likes things MY way. In July 2001, I was dumped off in a park in AZ, picked up by strangers and taken to Friends For Life Animal Sanctuary, where Gomer convinced dogmom to take me home. I've almost got the dogmom trained... it takes patience, let me tell ya!
